We live in a complex world - it can't be that simple!
“Educated” people want to show off
It's much more fun to make complex stuff
If it's too simple - you'll think we didn't work hard on it
You can't bill much for simple
And, my personal favorite: Simple is not simple.
When was the last time you made something simple?
Oh dear Ticketmaster,
How I wish to purchase tickets, to a show or to a game
I'd like to purchase tickets, but you are just so f'ing lame
Occasionally I go to your website on computers public and private,
Someone's password is pre-filled, only their email I must find it.
It seems to me, that private information should stay that way
Instead you let me see their bill and give it all away.
Why don't you work in browsers, other than IE.
Many customers use FireFox, it certainly seems to me.
So why oh why, does your checkout crash when I click submit.
Now I don't know if I've been charged by your piece of shit.
It doesn't let me know how much time is left on my checkout
Oh dear me, if I do not rush, I guess I'll go without.
After half an hour, 2 Diet Cokes, and seventeen run-throughs
I've found a browser that you like and now your website moves
There, the tickets, I originally wanted to buy
They are still on sale, time restrictions need not apply
I've picked them and logged in, this time as me
I re-enter my checkout information about to shout with glee.
But, you will not accept my payments and you will not tell me why.
I have to try three credit cards if I really want to buy.
I'm on that last credit card, all my infos checked,
Hopefully it accepts this time else my screen be decked
But wait, I've finally been confirmed, it's true!
Dear God, I've got my tickets, but no f'ing thanks to you.
Thank you TickeMaster, you're the biggest and the baddest
It's just too bad that your services are the saddest.
Last week, two people asked me: “what's Fabric's sweet spot?” I love that question! It's easy to answer: We excel at innovation, digital strategy, and web product development. It's simple. We put together great teams to design useful digital products and cool online brands.
We're the people you call when you have an idea for a digital brand or product - but you're not sure how to get it to market. We look for passionate people with smart ideas. We love start-ups and underdogs. Over the past 8 years, we've built successful video sites, social networks, digital products, and applications for big corporations and small companies.
Can we work with your team? Absolutely. Everyone at Fabric has spent thousands of hours working closely with agencies, entrepreneurs, VC's, and senior management at leading consumer brands in the US and Europe. We collaborate. We're open (source). We know we can get more done - together.
What's your big idea?
